In difference from traditional painting actual (contemporary) art does not have purpose - to make a picturesque spittle in eternity. We do not make such attempts, because eternity always with us. For our artists important position - "here and now" which constant is. The basis of Northern Talent - painting which avoids standards. To see the world as new, to spend alive experiment there is a purpose of actual painting. Traditional artists address to the certain audience. Traditional painting waits for the certain emotional results. It positively influences development of art actuel? We declare - no. To follow tradition in art actuel it "to make no headway". At the same time art of the actual artist is concentrated to the international, global art process, in distinction from "underground" painting which, often is only display of problems of separately taken individual painter. To us unexpected displays of the person and the Universe surrounding it are important. Northern Talent always brightly reacts to all the new phenomena meeting in contemporary painting. One of our tasks is dethronement of pseudo-original artists. We are always glad to new contacts to artists from any directions of art actuel.
